Hillcrest Kids Early Learning is hiring for support staff.
For this job, you will specifically be aiding in the care of children in multiple different roles.
Some knowledge in special education is helpful but not required.

*Role:* Supporting students and teachers by covering breaks and preparing tables or meals.
You will be directly supervised by the Program Manager and Site Director
*\*This is as interim position, January 2, 2024 thru March 29, 2024.
(There is a chance of continued employment based off the needs of the program at the time and the interest of the applicant to continue employment with Hillcrest Kids.
)*
*Qualifications*: Must be at least eighteen years of age or older.
Must have completed a high school education or the equivalent.
Must be cleared by the portable background check in MERIT prior to having unsupervised access to children.
Must be able to lift and comfort a young child (weighing approximately forty pounds) and get up and down from the floor with or without accommodations.
Must currently have or able to acquire a current infant/child CPR and First Aid certificates.
Must have negative T.

Must have experience with working in childcare / early learning center.
*Examples of duties include but are not limited to:*
* Support the Lead Teacher in creating a pleasant, inviting classroom atmosphere in which children feel safe and secure.
* Assist with children (or one child) who require one on one supervision and assistance.
* Communicate with the Lead Teacher any observations that pertain to the development, health and safety of the classroom and information that involves the care of young children.
* Carry out activities and directions as given by the Lead Teacher.
* Assist the Lead Teacher by maintaining a controlled classroom atmosphere promoting safety and respect for children and adults.
Stop unsafe activities.
* Provide opportunities and support for children to develop self-discipline.
* Maintain confidentiality of children and family information.
* Report suspected child abuse and neglect as required by law.
* Participate in recommended professional development opportunities.
* Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.
00 - $18.
50 per hour
