Building a house culture together: genuine care for all thriving in our shared housing is essential including regular check-ins with positive direct communication and deep listening.
We enjoy TV-free common areas and sound (music or otherwise) audible in the common areas should be harmonious for all.
Current housemates make some environmentally thoughtful efforts such as: reduced chemical use, low waste (rethink, reduce, reuse, repair, compost, recycle), appreciate vegetarian home-cooked meals, bicycling, etc.
Clean and Organized “happy medium”: not perfectly tidy and shining but clean and organized enough so all can enjoy and use the common areas well.
