Cosmetology Instructor Job Description We are looking to hire a Washington state licensed instructor for both Cosmetologist/Esthetician Instructors to teach our students the skills needed to enter the beauty industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for learning and adapting the course curriculum, teaching students the various cosmetologist/Esthetician skills, testing, grading work, and mentoring students.
To ensure success as a Cosmetologist/Esthetician Instructor, you should have extensive experience working as a professional Cosmetologist/Esthetician.
The instructor should have a natural talent for teaching, and good interpersonal skills.
The instructor takes a hands-on approach to their teaching, ensuring that every student gets the required knowledge they need to succeed in the beauty industry.
Cosmetology / ESTHETICIAN Instructor Responsibilities: Learning and adapting the course curriculum.
Setting out lesson plans.
Teaching students the skills of the beauty trade.
Setting out written and practical tests.
Grading tests, monthly reports Mentoring student attendance Overseeing examinations and final practical tests.
Providing course feedback to the institute Enrolling students into their program Cosmetology Instructor Requirements: Licensed by Washington State Department of Cosmetology.
Previous work experience as an Instructor.
Experience with teaching is preferred.
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle administrative duties Our client is seeking a Part time licensed Esthetician instructor to join their team.
The ideal candidate has experience working with cosmetic products and skin treatments and is detail oriented.
The Esthetician instructor will be responsible for providing lectures on theory and practical skills on facial, waxing and make-up application to students Our client offers competitive pay and benefits, as well as continuing training on the latest techniques.
Responsibilities: * Teaching theory and practial skills.
* Demonstrate microdermabrasion techniques.
* Manage salon and spa client information and student supervising.
* Manage Student monthly reports * Follow sanitation and safety procedures.
