JOB DESCRIPTION
CSA is looking for a student or recent college graduate who is interested in building real-world marketing experience to join our Marketing team as a Communications Intern.
Learn from a team of talented digital, communications, and content marketers and work in the expanding field of cloud and cybersecurity.
This part-time internship targets 20 hours per week and pays $20 per hour with the potential to convert internship to full-time employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support all aspects of CSA’s communication needs with an emphasis on promotional emails, social, and content marketing
Draft, edit, schedule, and execute a variety of email communications and social media posts
Build emails and social posts through Pardot
Coordinate with the design team for email and social media images
Support the event team in the promotion of all upcoming events and webinars
Adhere to and uphold the CSA communication guidelines
Revise copy based on feedback and direction
Compile and update Digital Marketing stats
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or relevant field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar.
Must have a true passion for writing and marketing communications.
An eagerness and openness to learn
A genuine interest in cloud technology
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker ready to bring fresh ideas
Experienced in communicating complicated ideas and concepts into direct and succinct messaging in various formats, from short social copy to long-form blogs and articles.
Email and social media writing experience
Familiarity with email and social media automation tools
Highly motivated, independent worker able to meet tight deadlines
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
Ability to work remotely
Candidates must submit writing samples to be considered
This position reports to the Sr.
Digital Marketing Manager and sits on the Marketing Team.
Preference is given to those located in Seattle, Bellingham, or Portland.
